THE CHESSBOARD
caravan left the burg, deserted
high way looked me very
strangely, sky had
been crimped
all spilled
out
stars, nebula, milky way, of course the
moon, I searched you among the
shrinkage of glowing dust,
the half noggin had
no trace of your
lip print,
night
seemed jaded, chandeliers were
gloomy as empty phial of
exotic perfume, the
half melted
dreams
and
candles scattered on the chessboard -
designed floor of life, vanguard
emotion utilized by you
inconceivably, now
my persona is
not lesser
than
the infantry man, after defeat standing
among the crowd of audience,
both sides of victorious
path, the procession
passed in the
luxurious
way,
you cut off a corner, refused all the -
happening of amethyst
darkness, erased
brilliantly the
familiar
odors,
no doubt you had won the game of life.
